Constant Nieuwenhuys - "New Babylon"

The structural system dominates and floats over the ground. Constant's works consist of unbuilt projects that he created in his workshop. Continuous motion and a rethinking of spaces and the way those spaces are defined are key elements with Constant's work. Influenced heavily by Surrealist thought as well as a member of several key movements in philosophy, architecture and art (CoBRA, Situationist Internationalle, and influenced by members of Team 10 and CIAM).
